Terms and Conditions

Reservations for services with Lusalux – Opção Credível, Lda. are made through our direct contacts (email or telephone) and are only considered complete after confirmation by our team and explicit acceptance by the client.

1. Reservations and Service Booking
– We recommend that reservations be made as far in advance as possible, preferably at least 72 hours before the desired date.
– Reservations made less than 24 hours in advance must be arranged exclusively by telephone.
– All services are subject to the availability of our fleet at the time of booking.
– Message exchanges (email, WhatsApp, SMS) between the client and Lusalux serve as proof of reservation.
– Making a reservation implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Punctuality and Attendance
– The client is responsible for being at the agreed location at the scheduled time.
– The maximum waiting time for the chauffeur is 30 minutes. After this period, the service will be considered completed.
– We will attempt to contact the client before considering the absence as a cancellation.

3. Documentation and Client Responsibility
– The client is responsible for carrying valid travel documents (passport, ID card, visas).
– Lusalux is not responsible for any legal impediments due to missing or invalid documentation.

4. Payments
– Full payment (100%) must be made at the time of booking, via debit card, credit card, MB Way, or American Express (AMEX).

5. Cancellations and Changes
– Cancellations made up to 15 days before the service date are entitled to a 50% refund of the amount paid.
– Cancellations made less than 15 days in advance are non-refundable.

6. Luggage
– Each passenger may carry up to two pieces of luggage.
– Additional or special luggage must be communicated at the time of booking.
– Lusalux is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicles, unless contractually agreed in advance.

7. Guarantees, Insurance, and Service Substitution
– All vehicles are legally insured and subject to mandatory periodic inspections.
– In case of inability to fulfill the service due to technical failure or unforeseen events, alternative transport will be provided (at no additional cost to the client).
– The company upholds a strict commitment to discretion and absolute confidentiality with all clients.

8. Extra Costs
– Services between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM are subject to a 20% surcharge on the base fare.
– Additional costs for waiting time, route changes, or extra stops may be applied if not included in the initial booking.

9. Onboard Behavior and Conduct
– Lusalux reserves the right to refuse transportation to clients under the influence of alcohol, illicit substances, or exhibiting abusive behavior.
– Smoking, eating, or consuming alcoholic beverages is prohibited inside the vehicles.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
– Lusalux may update these Terms and Conditions at any time, with the most recent version published on www.lusalux.pt
.
– The client may not claim ignorance of these terms after confirming a booking.
